Fabric Art Installation Disco Canopy – New Year’s Eve Party 2016 at Metro Chicago
Public Art Installation
The fabric art installation Disco Canopy was born out of the idea to suspend fabric over the main dance floor to create the sense of a ballroom. The suspension system utilized the main struts of the stage and reached over the crowd to be lit by projectors. The crowning touch of a solitary disco ball centered the trapezoid shape and provided a visual point to look up to from the dance floor.
