Derrick Carter hosted a event at the Mid that focused on Queer/POC/Women as the talent. The idea is that your fun and excitement isn’t necessarily excessively left in the hands of straight men. Chicago House music and other prominent Djs like Gene Hunt were featured that night. Derrick Carter is an American DJ, record producer and musician from Chicago, Illinois. He is regarded as one of the best underground house key players currently active and is popular in Europe.
